Honey of a Recipe: Marinade

One final recipe using the pecan creamed honey from our beekeeper - this time, a savory marinade.

A partner at my office, a gentleman who is a fantastic cook, suggested blending the honey and mustard together.

Brushed over a pork tenderloin, which was then slowly roasted, this marinade was a real winner.

Honey Mustard Marinade
  • 2 T. pecan creamed honey
  • 1/2 c. coarse ground mustard (I used a spicy variety - a nice flavor match for the honey's sweetness)
Beat the honey and mustard together. Brown pork tenderloin in heavy skillet, then brush marinade over the outside. Roast as directed.
