Feeling Food-Festive

It's the holiday season! No better excuse to break out decadent desserts.

We had a stash of Mint Truffle Hershey's kisses hanging out in the pantry. Obviously, something needed to be done.

I decided to experiment. Good (and at times, disastrous) things happen when you experiment.

I mixed up a batch of brownies (nothing better than Betty Crocker's Original Supreme Brownie mix, friends!). Then I spread a small amount of the batter in the bottom of a lightly greased baking dish. Next I topped the batter with unwrapped Mint Truffle kisses.

I topped that with the remainder of the brownie batter.

After baking following the normal brownie baking instructions...

Warm, gooey, minty brownies - with the occasional super-mint flavor surprise.
