Geocaching Adventures

We really love geocaching. We just hadn't gone geocaching for a while. Blame the hot summer, lots of training runs and races, broken thumbs, busy work schedules and the like - it seemed we couldn't make the time.

So I did what I always do - I put a couple of geocaching goals on my 101 List. First, I want to find 100 geocaches in a day. Second, I want to increase our total "find" count to 750.

We're not up to 750 finds yet, but we did take time over the holiday break to go on a massive cache run.

We warmed up by working through part of a geocaching power trail with my youngest sister and her friend. Good times.

Then we headed back to finish up the power trail with J & S. We were at the first cache by 7:30 am and hunted for a majority of the day.

Lots and lots of these found on the power trail...

All in all, we found 154 caches. Far more than we could have hoped for - and so much fun!!

We've definitely re-caught the geocaching bug and are plotting our next adventure. 750 finds, here we come!
