Here's a recipe for a healthy, vitamin-packed breakfast on the run.
Plum Good Razzle-Dazzle Breakfast Smoothie
2 c. low-sugar grape juice
3 plums, cut into pieces
1/2 c. frozen raspberries
1/4 c. low-fat yogurt, plain
3/4 c. ice cubes
Optional:
1 t. joint supplement powder
(Helps rebuild and maintain healthy joints - important when putting in a lot of jogging miles each week)
1 t. alfalfa powder
(Nutrient-rich, improves digestion)
Combine in blender until fully mixed and creamy. Makes: four 8 oz servings or two 16 oz servings.
