Looking for something fun (and free) to do in the Metroplex? Here's an idea: tour the Bureau of Engraving and Printing! Located on the north side of Fort Worth, the facility is one of two in the United States that prints paper money.
Tours are free, Monday-Friday, and take about two hours total. We've gone through the BEP tour in DC as well, and think you have a better tour experience in Fort Worth.
I love being a tourist in my own home town (although I wouldn't turn down a trip out of town either!!).
Bums. I've been wanting to take that tour. I'm glad to know it's worth the time. See you soon.
