Someone brought crack cocaine to the office today.
Or they might as well have, because powdered mini-donuts are a trigger food for me.
We all have trigger foods. Heck, marketers want us to have trigger foods:
- “Betcha can’t eat just one.”
- “Once you pop, you can’t stop.”
The best solution for me is pure avoidance. What doesn't pass my lips once isn’t at risk of passing my lips ahem number of times.
On my list:
- Powdered mini-donuts
- Homemade yeast cinnamon rolls
- Rice Krispies Treats
- Wheat Thins
- Mozzarella string cheese
So today, I’ve had to make a hard choice: find someone who can refill my water glass and make my tea or commit to exercising for two additional hours to work off Donette calories.
Must stop typing now – I have to ring my “go fetch” bell!
