Here's what's on my mind today for a perfect summer get-away:
Take four good friends and add one cabin in the woods:
Toss in a stack of books and magazines for pleasure reading:
Make sure to bring plenty of charcoal for grilling steaks,
vegetables and freshly caught fish:
Mix in a day of tubing down the river:
Finish with perfect sunsets in the hot tub:
Doesn't that sound delightful? Oh dear...here I go off into dream-land again!!
And, just for my daily jab of irony, the Don't Sweat the Small Stuff daily calendar tells me today:
Many of us emphasize the importance
of our vacation so much that we forget
to enjoy the rest of our lives.
