Attitude of Gratitude: Best of the Best Edition

You know, there are just certain things in life that cause unwanted stress. Things like car repairs, house repairs and body repairs.

Anyone can find the best place to buy electronics. Or an excellent sushi restaurant.

But the thought of shelling out (potentially) lots of money on something that matters a great deal, well, that's another matter entirely.

So, I've been thinking lately about how blessed we are to have three fantastic providers who help us take care of our car, house and body.

If you live in North Dallas, here's the Hayley Best of the Best:

Car: Innovative Auto Works -Plano, Texas

These guys know cars. And they know how to treat a client - they fix what needs to be fixed and nothing more. Take your car in for an oil change and they change the oil, rather than finding another $300 of "optional" service items needing attention. We've taken our vehicles to them for nearly a decade.

House: Home Restoration Service - Plano, Texas

When we bought the Hayley Home, it was in dire need of renovation after years of neglect. Enter Don Walker and his team. They did a fantastic job - did what we asked, worked to the budget and fixed everything on our list. Fast forward to the Great Water Disaster of 2010. I talked to Don on Monday and his team was at our house within two hours. Now that's service!

Body: Village Health Partners - Plano, Texas

After reading an article about a new type of family practice not far from the Hayley Home, I decided my Bum Leg was a good time to give them a try. We were seen quickly (less than 5 minute wait in the waiting room, less than 5 minute wait in the exam room) and had a significant exam and visit with the doctor. Then, after we headed to the pharmacy, the doctor called to share the radiologist's official report with me. Wow! That's beyond customer service.

Seems to me that all three of these businesses know Rabbi Daniel Lapin's first commandment for creating wealth (and doing good business):

Believe in the dignity and morality of business.

And I'm happy to let you know that they are The Best of The Best!
