We wrestled with the big questions -
- What is going on?
- Where are things headed?
- When will "it" get better?
Yet somehow on this flight, when I'm literally at 30,000 ft., I'm not thinking about business.
The late evening flight is packed - every seat filled with quiet, tired travellers. The gentleman next to me snoozes fitfully, nodding and bobbing in his cramped seat.
And I sit, knowing I should be typing my notes or working on an upcoming presentation or finalizing a newsletter.
Yet I'm entranced by the puffy clouds floating below.
The moon winks at me, just beginning its nightly display.
We're chasing the sunset back to Dallas and - for once - my mind is at rest and my heart is full.
