He's Like Wine

During the Attack of Mr. Winter (aka the Super Freeze aka Thunder Sleet aka Where Do I Live Anyway?), we've been spending a lot of time sitting on the couch with the television on.

It helps pass the time. Important when you're on DAY FOUR of staying home.

Anyway, I glanced up to see a commercial for a new car and mentioned to The Boy, I like that car. It's pretty cool looking.

As the car in commercial continued to rotate, I realized it was (basically) a station wagon.

So I said to The Boy, Oh my gosh! I'm old! I just said that a station wagon was cool looking!!

** No response **

Did you hear what I said? I just said that I'm getting old because I said a station wagon was cool looking!

The Boy looked at me and said, I'm getting old too - I didn't hear you. I wasn't listening.

While I was laughing, he noted:

This is what happens when I'm cooped up for several days.

I just get funnier.

I'm like wine - the longer you store me, the better I am.
