My Personal Fan Club

Side note: This always happens. I think I have an easy-breezy schedule, then I look up and realize that my schedule actually looks like this:

• Monday - conference call, proposal draft, special event preparation, Monday evening meeting
• Tuesday - training, proposal draft, presentation preparation, brochure review, special event preparation, evening event for The Boy
• Wednesday - proposal revisions and final draft, final presentation preparation, special event preparation
• Thursday - print and ship proposal, last minute presentation chaos, small group Bible study
• Friday - final special event preparation, much-delayed presentation on Russian architecture, Mavericks championship celebration (that I've volunteered to bring treats for), evening planning session at the Hayley house over dessert (that I'm making)
• Saturday - travel to Atlanta. Special event preparation
• Sunday - special event
• Monday - return to Dallas

Chaos. Utter chaos. And you'll note that somehow I've managed to volunteer to provide food for two separate events on exactly the same day in the midst of an unusually hectic deadline week.

So I spent Tuesday evening, while The Boy was at his evening event, cooking and watching the UK version of The Office. Love that show. Never gets old.

But I wasn't alone while I was cooking. My number one fan was in her usual perch, keeping an eye on all of my activities.
