It's never-ending, I said to The Boy, as I pulled yet another load of laundry from the dryer.
It's a continuous process, he said. The Boy likes clarity like that.
I said it was never-ending. A continuous process, by definition, is never ending. It just keeps continuing, I told him.
Well, he said. It wouldn't be never-ending if we just went around naked all the time. But you keep rejecting that idea, saying it wouldn't be appropriate.
If you're going to be such a nay-sayer, you'll just have to live with never-ending laundry.
How do you argue with logic like that?
