Amidst door knobs falling off, cats scratching where they ought not, trips and coffee spills and ominous drought-related cracks in the plaster (indicating foundation issues), it's helpful to have people over to your home for dinner.

Because they remind you of what's important - having a home that's a sanctuary, welcoming, calming and comfortable.
They also tell you these things about your home. And that feels good.
