RIP to My Favorites

The networks have released their schedules for the fall.

For the Hayleys, that means it's an opportunity for us to learn which of the shows that we love have gotten the axe.

I've noticed a disturbing trend - if a television show is mindless, features sophomoric humor and/or is "reality" based, it will receive a pick-up. If a television show has sharp humor, engages the mind and/or features clever writing, it's doomed.

Let's just say the Hayleys spend a lot of time at the end of a television season deleting our DVR recording settings because our favorite shows are cancelled.
