2013 is Underway

As we have for the previous four years, we kicked off 2013 by running the New Year's Day 5 Mile at White Rock Lake.

I always write our results, race conditions and anything else of note on the back of our bibs. This year looks like a real mess regarding the latter two:

Muddy, slippery and very wet cold

The Boy - third run post-break, first race post-break, ran with cast

Me - sixth run post-break, second race post-break, ran with inflamed lungs

Yet we both finished with quite respectable times, considering.

It's a start.
