But it's not.
The greatest challenge of going through change is the disruption it causes in your every day routine.
What was is what was - past tense. Past tense = not now. Something else is now. And that something else is different.
I've come to believe that I like things that are different, but I crave routine. Routine brings structure, predictability and familiarity. If I could keep those things but have everything different, life would be great.
Of course, that's not how life works and so I - like you - must learn to adjust.
And the great irony is that learning to adjust is a kind of change in and of itself.
