That was how it went for me yesterday. I've been battling a nagging headache, not helped by having lots of plans bouncing around my head.
- Team plans to restructure
- Images to reformat for the new company website
- Critical job leads to chase
- Schedules to confirm
- Mavericks playoff tickets to sell
- House renovation projects wrapping up
So there I was, showering after my evening workout, and contemplating how strange life can be.
Things that used to be so important - living my work, winning and being on top - eh, no so important anymore. It's not that I don't want to work hard, or have success, but it doesn't feed me anymore.
Chalk it up to age, or wisdom, or finding life balance. I don't know. But, as Paula Abdul would say, It is what it is.
I'd just come to this realization when I suddenly wondered, Have I washed my hair already?
Oh well, it was just one of those days: Lather-Rinse-Repeat.
