What started with simply bringing some chocolate to share with his department has snowballed into a detailed list of favorites (passed onto his wife for shopping trips) and a funky bamboo bowl to properly display the stash:
He even promotes new offerings and asks the Office Chocoholics to vote. I guess unlucky chocolates get sent to Exile Island...
Lately, a colleague pointed out to Kelly that she can always tell when someone is coming to the Accounting Department for chocolate, not finances.
How so? he wondered.
The answer?
They do the chocolate walk.
Apparently, the chocolate walk is identified by:
- aimless wandering into the accounting area,
- entering by one door, while leaving by another,
- time of day, and
- a lack of paperwork in one's hand.
We know you just came for chocolate! they said.
*Gasp* How did you know? she replied.
Because you're doing the chocolate walk.
Next time, remember to bring papers with you.
The chocolate walk may become the chocolate waddle if a person isn't careful!
