Change

The Boy and I were discussing the budget the other day, trying to figure out where some extra money would be placed (vacation? car fund? home repair? mortgage?).

After doing some fairly significant dreaming (bikes! a maid!) I said, You're lucky your wife is a patient person.

Him: Oh really?

Me: Yes, I am. I've been scrapbooking and noticed that I was wearing the same clothes in the last three years of Christmas photos. If I wasn't patient, I surely would have purchased many new clothes by now!

Him: Oh baby, that's just because you needed to do more changing on the inside before you could change on the outside.

Hmmm.
