6:53 and we're on the train downtown.
It's strange how success can be defined sometimes.
Normally we're doing well to get on the 7:08, sometimes the 7:11. Yet here we sit silently cheering being on the train 15 minutes earlier than normal.
An earlier train means earlier to work, but it doesn't translate to earlier to leave. It does mean work-at-home-in-the-evening is pretty unlikely (bonus) and an opportunity to "merge into" the day rather than being hit by it full-force.
Like I said: It's strange how success can be defined sometimes.
