You have to learn to face fear with facts.
Too much of our lives are spent filled with worry and anxiety - stress over the unknown. The only way to address those feelings is head on.
I'm afraid of X. Confront it. Why I am afraid? What happens if X happens? Then what?
I'm worried about Y. Confront it. What's so scary? If Y happens, then what?
By facing our fears we can address the heart of matters: Our hearts. Getting clarity and context gives confidence and, ultimately calm.
We've been practicing this for the past month or so and have found that it really works.
Fear feels bigger when it's allowed to run rampant. Facts provide a boundary line to keep it in check.
Try it - it's worth the effort.

There is no room in love for fear. Well-formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life—fear of death, fear of judgment—is one not yet fully formed in love. - I John 4:18 MSG
