Great Quote

During my formative years, my parents were fond of telling me:

Life is hard, then you die.

Positive reinforcement, huh?!

I just heard a new (old) take on this, and it's my new favorite quote for These Difficult Times:

Life is hard; it's harder if you're stupid.

    I heard a slightly different version. I like the John Wayne quote better, though.
