Getting Organized: Mikoba

I love purses (mikoba), but keeping them organized is a constant struggle. Or at least it was until I did a bit of DIY storage solving the other weekend.

With a bigger closet and the accompanying increased wall space, I've found a way to stay on top of my many mikoba. A simple wall organizer allows me to see my favorite bags, making morning bag selection quick and easy:

My next challenge was to find a way to make sure everything inside made the transition from one bag to another. An ample-sized basket holds everything that needs to move, along with an assortment of wallets that I rotate as well:

A small note for dedicated purse collectors: hanging hooks aren't the best way to store and preserve expensive bags long-term. A hook can place strain on the bag's strap, causing it to stretch and tear over time. However, my tastes run to the more pedestrian (aka - affordable), so hooks work just fine for my needs.
